A good field of 24 players contested the Wilks/Smith Monthly Medal at Lucindale last Wednesday. The MOG’s (Mother of the Grooms) were back in town and enthralled us with wedding stories over a delicious luncheon after play. With a fine return to form Petrina Smith was the Monthly Medal winner with nett 72.  Leanne Graetz was runner up on 74.  Off the stick winner was Sharon Menz with 93.  The A graders found the putting hard work with Sharon’s 27 putts the only score under 30 in the field.  … [Read more...]
