Ladies Championships 2012 and the winners are…

It was a big week of Elders Club Championship action for the ladies at Lucindale last week.  Wednesday was quarter final day with some semis also being completed. In A grade Leanne Graetz defeated Isobel Carracher 2/1. This was also the score for the match between Sharon Menz and Michelle Justin, with Sharon victorious. The week that was June 6th

A good field of 24 players contested the Wilks/Smith Monthly Medal at Lucindale last Wednesday. The MOG’s (Mother of the Grooms) were back in town and enthralled us with wedding stories over a delicious luncheon after play. With a fine return to form Petrina Smith was the Monthly Medal winner with nett 72.  Leanne Graetz was runner up on 74.  Off the stick winner was Sharon Menz with 93.  The A graders found the putting hard work with Sharon’s 27 putts the only score under 30 in the field.  … [Read more...]

The question is not 'do you play golf' , but, 'will you play golf'? I say it would be a pity not to come and have a go but hey......what would I know! I do know that you will have a fun day in great company and the walk around the beautiful course is good for your soul. Who knows you may surprise yourself with some good golf shots too!
